Born and raised in a sleepy California beach town, I was drawn to explore my surroundings by my own means. Never slowing down for anything, I was constantly pushing myself in the water and on land. Skateboarding, surfing, mountain biking, skiing, team sports, you name it. I never stopped.

 A vespa accident while attending college in San Francisco forced me to commute by bicycle. Combine that with a childhood love for the Tour de France and Sir Bradley Wiggins winning in 2012, I wanted to be “cool” and ride in lycra. Wiggo was different and made racing bikes seem rockstar cool to me.
